As with all home remodeling projects, a home addition can vary in price greatly. Single story, one room additions start just under $100K, while 2 story additions with primary suites can be in the neighborhood of $300k.
Just like all of our projects, home additions are completed by using our in-house team of skilled craftsmen as well as our long standing team of trade partners.
All addition projects require a series of permits including, grading, building, electrical, plumbing mechanical, and sometimes storm water management permits depending on size. We’ll handle all paperwork and filing for permits on your behalf so you don’t have to worry about it.
Generally, it is not necessary for you to move out during the building of your addition. However, larger addition projects that are paired with larger home renovations projects usually require moving out to ensure the flow of the trades and process throughout the entire home.
Smaller 1 story addition projects usually can be completed within 2 months.
Larger addition projects usually take between 3 – 4 months depending on scope and complexity.
Yes, most of our addition projects are designed in-house by our design team. Our designer Amanda will listen to your needs and create unique 2D and 3D renderings of your space, which you’ll have the opportunity to adapt until it’s 100% to your liking.

This addition and renovation project in Havertown included:

The Pellak Team renovated most of our home!
